One day, we'll be scoffing at the dating habits of our grandkids and missing the boldness that's only plausible when you have no connection to a face met online. Also, Merrells are back.
- obsessed with the story about college kids not reading anymore lol
- "Today’s post serves as a reminder to stop shitting on younger generations because although they like different denim styles, we have more in common than we’d like to admit." Ok FACTS. The only thing I will say that I've been ruminating on a lot is that the current young generation (and I do think our age is apart of this FWIW) is so obsessed with VIBES and Aesthetic it's almost removing like free will from everything - like can I just wear an outfit or go to a restaurant because I look good or the menu looks good or it's on my walk home. It feels like all our choices now have to have so much intention behind it in terms of what we want to represent/how we present ourselves to the world
- sea urchins IYKYK
- one of my favorite tidbits from recent social media manager reporting is that the Kamala team has a loose rule in place that social posts should only take one hour from ideation to posting. I def think brands are way to cerebal with their posting and should adopt this approach
- I'm happy hot people are in again but like dua lipa should be performing, not cher
- re: shoe section, thanks for bringing back a long-forgotten memory of asking my mom for uggs and being taken to the Payless on 86th street to get bear paws.
A lot to chew on here. I think the intentionality stems from everything we do being posted online; we rarely do interesting things without telling people about it, which makes everything seem very polished.
Having the word ‘clogette’ in the same sentence as the phrase ‘ode to Dr. Scholl’s’ is really doing it for me
Thank you for addressing the elephant in the room -- the LV Neverfull influencer marketing budget
the mass send is such a tired technique too????
WAIT MOLLY I have so many thoughts.

Sea urchins will always be a moment in time. Bear paws will not. You’re stronger for that
